This is Gabby. I got Gabby because she difficult to handle for the people who adopted her. Gabby was and still is very energetic. She is very sweet, gentle and extremely smart. I should also mention she's a "velcro dog". She is always by my side.
Hermie is also a rescue, like all of my dogs and cats. Hermie is my problem child. I got him as a pup and he is now 10 years old. Hermie still gets into trouble the way all puppies do. He gets in the trash and chews up stuff. On two separate occasions, he has destroyed shoes. He cannot be left unattended, even for a short time. But I still love him.
This beautiful boy is Lenny. I got Lenny while visiting family in Florida. I was supposed to be fostering him while I was there but when it was time to return to Ohio, I could not return him to the rescue group and have him go to another foster family. Lenny is loving and quiet.... just wonderful.
This is Java, my foster dog. I rescued Java from the shelter the same day she was going to be euthanized. There was no way I was going to let her die. Java loves everyone including the cat Simon. But she is especially attached to me. She, like Hermie, gets into the trash, counter surfs, etc.
